Zoe Anderson
Miss Texas Teen Volunteer 2027
Zoe Anderson is a 17-year-old senior at Nacogdoches High School, where she focuses her studies on healthcare while excelling as a student, leader, and accomplished dancer. She serves as Major of the Nacogdoches High School Dragonettes Drill Team, is a member of the National Honor Society, and is a featured dancer and assistant dance teacher at The Movement Dance Company. A four-time national champion with her dance company and a State Champion in Solo Contemporary Performance, Zoe plans to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Arkansas and pursue a career caring for children at Texas Children’s Hospital.
Zoe’s S.E.R.V.E. initiative, “Hang Up and Hang Out,” reflects her passion for helping young people develop healthier relationships with technology and social media. Inspired by her own experiences, Zoe serves as a Teen Ambassador for Bark and visits elementary schools to share her story while teaching digital wellness, online safety, and the importance of building self-worth beyond social media. Through school and community outreach, she encourages young people to use technology intentionally while creating more meaningful connections in the world around them.
Whether she is dancing, volunteering with the Food Bank of East Texas, mentoring younger students, or advocating for digital wellness, Zoe brings enthusiasm and purpose to everything she does. As Miss Texas Teen Volunteer, she hopes to use her year of service to inspire young people to recognize their worth, make responsible choices online, and discover that some of life’s greatest moments happen when we put our phones down and truly connect with one another.
